Beware - Scamming for deposit! Was professional, assessed job, made recommendations, quoted etc and created urgency for deposit to secure the job. Once deposit taken, kept rescheduling and no shows, job not executed and refund not issued! Doesn’t matter what they respond to this review, the fact is that the deposit was taken, work was not executed and no refund to date (over 4 weeks now). They know the loopholes and that a claim with VCAT takes time. Have reported to the authorities. Zein Daoud, also trading under Melbourne Group Industries and Maintenance 360 Australia but not a registered plumber with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) or Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC). When requested for license number, refused to provide. Website claims to be operating since 2008 and 2018 but 5 star reviews here are only in last 6 months, seems fake and I should’ve done my due diligence. Worth noting - It is illegal for unregistered plumbers to even quote jobs for more than $750 and to be taking deposits, a legit plumber would always state their license number on the quotes (as per the plumber we engaged to do the job after).
