WAY OVERPRICED 4.9 rating seems sus, I suspect it's bots? Got quoted $900 to unclog a shower drain with some acid treatment which was ridiculous. Then the guy called "head office" and reduced it to $450 which was still ridiculous. We declined and then they asked for a $50 "call out" fee, which we pointed out as per their website, email and texts that it's FREE QUOTES and he did end up leaving. We ended up getting a plunger and fixed it ourselves in 5 mins. REPONSE TO OWNER REPLY: Not sure where the confusion is, my negative review is for 2 things: 1. The options you provided to unblock a drain was $900 and $450, why did you not consider a more simple solution like using a plunger and charging less? Is your minimum charge to fix drains $450? Your website states you can unblock drains from $99, why was this not offered? 2. Your team attempted to ask for a $50 call out fee, why? My theory is you quote an extremely high price ($900) for simple jobs, in the hopes that every 1 in 10 jobs someone elderly or desperate might actually take the offer. That I think is a scam. What did you want to discuss on the call? I'm not looking for a refund or solution, I just want to let everyone know what happened in my situaution.

This plumber attended my 85 year old mother’s place on a Friday afternoon to sort a blocked toilet. He was there less than 15 mins and charged the ridiculous price of $480. This is extortion and exploitation of an elderly person. Don’t use these people. They are a rip off. UPDATE: replying to you below, you say you got consent - yes you got consent from an old lady who needed her toilet fixed and had no idea that your charge was ridiculous, and thought she had no choice. My own plumber would have charged half what you charged for a 15 min visit. I mean really, who charges $480 for 15 mins? That is almost $2000 an hour. You cannot say that consent is useful when a vulnerable person feels backed into a corner. Yes it is your choice what you charge, I supposed there is no law against it, but I am just telling all the readers out there to go and get other quotes because there is no need to be exploited by rip off artists
