I initially called Peak Plumbing to install a gas cooktop and was told they do not do gas, and I was referred to a gas fitting plumber (Mark ). Mark came to the property and quoted $700 for the installation. He was happy to accept $600 with a senior’s discount. On the basis of that quote, I gave Mark the go-ahead to complete the job. Upon completion, I offered to pay Mark, but I was then informed that Peak Plumbing would be billing me. Imagine my surprise when I received an invoice from Peak Plumbing for $849 - 30% more than the original quoted price! I queried the invoice, and was told that a ‘phone quote’ was not a real quote. I informed Andrew Triffett that on the contrary, Mark had attended the property and provided an actual quote. The next point of contention was that Peak Plumbing refused to honour the senior’s discount in Mark’s quote. I have no issue with the quality of the completed job,Mark was great. However I am disgusted with the less-than-honest billing process from Peak Plumbing. At least have the decency to honour an actual quote, without me threatening to take Peak Plumbing to the small claims tribunal. As it stands, I paid $720 for the completed job.

We now have a beautiful new bathroom thanks to Andrew. An extremely creative, and highly skilled plumber, ensuring every stage of the renovation was carried out promptly, and completed to an exceptionally high standard. Very happy customers!

I have used Andrew twice this year for fairly urgent jobs, one was to move an outside tap which was dripping and causing seepage under the house, the 2nd was for what we thought was a major blockage in an underground pipe. Andrew responded immediately to my phone message, was able to check what was required straight away and in both cases completed the job quickly and efficiently. As well as being a delightful young man, Andrew is polite and runs the office side of his business efficiently. I will always recommend him.
