I appreciated Howrah Plumbing keeping in touch and sending texts with updates. Christian was a very diligent worker making sure everything was up to standard and legal. He also gave me a range of options which is very helpful for our future planning.

Howrah Plumbing were efficient in responding to our needs. The plumbers were polite, friendly and comunicated well. They were proactive in recommending alternatives and made observations of other plumbing maintenance that was needed. They worked quickly and efficiently. Would thoroughly recommend them.

We called Howrah Plumbing to fix a small leak in the water inlet connector to our LG Dishwasher because they advertise that they deal with dishwashers and as our hose contains a solenoid, we thought they would be best positioned to ensure a correct fix. The plumber reversed the washer, removed a small red filter from the line, reconnected the hose and ran the tap with no leak. During the night after running the dishwasher the metal connector fractured causing flooding to a large portion of our unit. Upon speaking to a supervisor at the company I was verbally assured that they would take responsibility and repair the flood damage. Later that day the supervisor arrived, unannounced to me, and after a cursory look under the sink explained the reasons why they were not responsible and would not be covering any of the costs. His first reason was the plumber was responding to fixing a leak, which he fixed. My response was that we had advised that it was a solenoid model and therefore there maybe further issues than a leaky seal. When I stated that the plumber had only test the tap and not test ran the dishwasher, he responded that a test may not have discovered the issue, however the corollary to this is it may have and as we pay for a full hour on a 15 minute job he had plenty of time to do a test. Another issue that I discovered later was that the plumber used a pipe wrench to tighten the metal connector. It is documented in the LG help library that NO mechanical device should be used to tighten the fitting. The scolloped design of the connector also suggests hand tightening. The final issue I have is that in the process of tightening the solenoid housing swivelled to the right pushing up against the cabinet back wall, putting more pressure on the metal connector. A final thank you to the company for the stress and financial burden they have left me (Age Pensioner) and my wife (Disability Support Pensioner).

I found that Curtis and his apprentice were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about our hot water issue. The problem was solved to our satisfaction and have requested that once a quote has been approved for other work we would give the work to your organisation.
